If you are a new user or unsure whether CTLab can meet your needs, then get in contact with us. We are always keen to hear about new applications and areas of research where CT may be able to help.

Last year alone we scanned >1500 samples! It is highly likely that we have already scanned something similar to your sample and we can show you something of interest from our huge archive of 3D datasets.

When considering using CTLab services it is important to consider:

1. What you are really trying to find out
2. Number of samples
3. Size of your samples
4. What they are made of
5. How they can be mounted so that they will not move (on the scale of microns).
6. The size of the features that you wish to investigate
7. How you are going to analyse your data (datasets can be large, i.e >100GB)
8. Your budget

Often multiple objects can be run together. Usually it is best to group by size, so that the optimum scanning conditions can be used. It is usually best to speak with us so that we can get a good understanding of what you wish to achieve and then we can plan appropriately.
