Laptop in Neuroglancer

Below, you can find an example of an entire dataset: a micro-CT scan of a laptop, intended to show its internal structure without the need to disassemble the laptop or risk damage.

We are using a web-based viewer based on Neuroglancer, which enables us (and our clients) to easily inspect and view the 3D volumetric dataset (tomogram) that we acquire. Neuroglancer is capable of displaying arbitrary cross-sectional views of the dataset, as well as 3D meshes, line segment models and skeletons.

The data can be available immediately after the scanning and reconstruction are complete. It can be accessed simply by opening a link in a browser; there is no need to download the full data. Any arbitrary slice can be viewed at full-resolution wihtout installing any additional software.
